Manufacturer's Limited Warranty

If your battery is not registered within 90 days of purchase, the warranty will begin from the manufacturer's date of the battery. Proof of ownership is required. Warranties are not transferable.

Epoch Essential Models & 48V GC2 Golf Models

If a valid warranty claim is made and the battery cannot be repaired:

  • Years 1-3: The defective battery will be repaired or replaced with a similar product.
  • Years 4-5: A similar product will be offered at 40% off the retail MSRP listed at the time of the offer.
  • Years 6-11: A similar product will be offered at 25% off the retail MSRP listed at the time of the offer.

All Other Models

If a valid warranty claim is made and the battery cannot be repaired:

  • Years 1-5: The defective battery will be repaired or replaced with a similar product.
  • Years 6-11: A similar product will be offered at 25% off the retail MSRP listed at the time of the offer.

Epoch Batteries Warranty Repair Process

Step 1: Initiate Your Repair Request

  • Start your warranty repair process by logging into our Repair Portal
  • Fill out the necessary information, including the battery serial number and issue description
  • Attach any necessary photos
  • If approved, receive a prepaid UPS label (You are responsible for return shipping costs)

Step 2: Ship the Battery Back to Us

  • Carefully package the battery for protection during transit
  • Original packaging and foam available for $25 fee if needed
  • Use the prepaid UPS label for shipping

Step 3: Repair Process

  • Technical assessment and repairs under warranty terms
  • Regular status updates provided
  • Typical turnaround: 3-10 days

Step 4: Return of the Repaired Battery

  • Repaired battery shipped back to you
  • Tracking number provided via email
  • Return shipping covered by Epoch Batteries

Battery (LiFePO4) Warranty Coverage

11 Year Limited Warranty

EDG Sales International LLC (the manufacturer, hereafter "Epoch Batteries") warrants each Epoch Battery branded Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery ("the Battery") sold by Epoch Batteries or any of its authorized distributors or dealers to be free of manufacturer's defects for a period of 11 years ("the Warranty Period") from the date of sale, as determined by the buyer's sales receipt.

Warranty Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not cover any Battery subjected to the following conditions:

  • Damage due to being unsecured or insufficiently secured
  • Improper installation, use, maintenance, or service
  • Loose battery terminal connections
  • More than 4 batteries connected in series (above 48V)
  • Reverse polarity connections
  • Inappropriate storage conditions, including exposure to extreme temperatures above 140°F or below -40°F, fire, or water submersion, or storing the Battery in a completely discharged state
  • Any short circuit caused by accidental, intentional, or inadvertent connection of the positive and negative terminals
  • Damage caused by impact, accident, collision, or drop
  • Under/over charging the Battery as defined in the Battery Owner's Manual
  • Use with third-party products that fail
  • High resistance caused by corroded terminals, poor crimps, or insufficient cable size
  • Battery failure due to a faulty electrical system
  • Battery that has been opened, modified, or tampered with in any way
  • Battery used for applications other than those designed and intended, including repeated engine starting or drawing more amps than the battery is rated to discharge
  • Battery not charged for over 1 year (batteries need periodic charging to maintain cell health)
  • Battery used in commercial applications cycled to more than 80% depth of discharge repeatedly within 24-hour periods

1 Year Limited Warranty

EDG Sales International LLC (the manufacturer, hereafter "Epoch Batteries") warrants each accessory component, including chargers, fuel gauges, voltage reducers, and all other accessories sold by Epoch Batteries or any of its authorized distributors or dealers, to be free of manufacturer's defects for a period of 1 year ("the Warranty Period") from the date of sale, as determined by the buyer's sales receipt. All accessory components are covered for full replacement during this period.
